y first year in Minnesota and as one of the organizers for this years event.  Although it was a lot of work and I didn't get to play as much as I would have liked, it was a fantastic weekend!  The the attendees, guests and presenters were dynamite!

It all started the weekend before the event when Trouble, Laura and I set up a booth at the Pride Weekend Event in Duluth, MN.  As I walked through the area I noticed this beautiful woman in some tight jeans.  I later learned she was setting up a booth for her business and was interested in our event.  We later had a chance to talk and she said she thought she might be able to make it to the event.

So, the event starts and people start showing up from all over.  First, a great list of presenters from all over...Plus some great vendors...and, we also had some wonderful sponsors that helped tremendously...

Friday was the meet and greet with Pizza and beer.  Some of the attendees were in from all over the country who are also involved with the pony play community on Second Life.  They were a fantastic group to hang out with.  The workshops went well, we had plenty of non-pony play topics (see poster for 2007 event here).

The temps turned out to be a little chilly for some people so most of the pony play show was done in the large barn area.  We had a few male ponies but I was the only "riding" pony so I lucked out and was ridden by 3 ladies in the horse show.  One was the woman I had met the weekend before at the Pride Event Weekend.  Lady Mina spent a little while riding me around and also entered me in the horse show as her horse.  She won the equitation award (best rider).  I also had the honor of being ridden by 2 other fantastic riders, Karen Klein and Scarlette Stangata .

After the pony show, some of the attendees had a chance to ride some of the bio horses as well.  I also had the honor of being ridden by the beautiful Mistress Saskia and SheriFox.  After the event, SheriFox and I also did some photos with me as a warhorse and her as a Native American rider.  You can see a few of these images in the gallery section here.

All in all, it was a great weekend. 2008 should be a fantastic event!  To see these images and more, check out the gallery for the event.
