amily!
That is the best way to describe the pony community. CTK
(Central Texas Kink) is the name of the family that hosts some great
parties and events (not for profit, but just because they are great
people). They organized this fund raising pony play event in
less than 3 weeks. I was the gust of honor as the funds raised
are going to pay for some of the medical costs acquired from the
recent surgery for Necrotizing Fasciitis.
There were new ponies that came out to
try pony play and meet me as well as a lot of my friends and it was a
great weekend, even with the frigid temps that came in on Sunday.
The wind was the culprit more than the temps as the sun was shining
and when the wind did take a break, it would be nice. Some of
the pics you may see from the event will not be the normal pony attire
as we all gave in to being more warm than sick from the cold.
I am not going into a lot of detail on
the competition as that will be posted in
Equus Eroticus as well as
probably on the CTK web site. This journal entry is more of a
thank you to all and some highlights of what I enjoyed during the
weekend. I may not mentioned a few names since I don't know if
they would or would not mind but where I feel it's ok, I will mention
them.
Of course, seeing my "family" at the
CTK ranch is always the highlight... Mel and Jan did a fantastic job
in organizing the event and the competition. Jan looks sooooo
hot in her riding clothes too!! Someone most have told all the
ladies about my fetish for women wearing pantyhose (or the fact it was
cold) cause almost every lady was wearing them (not a complaint mind
you!! <weg>)!
My flight was very bumpy, a lot of
turbulence but I did manage to get some reading done although the
wound was rubbed with the rough flight (and became slightly sore).
To my surprise I was met at the gate by Jan and Coffeebean, while Mel
circled. We had to stop by a grocery store and pickup some
things for Leo to use for his large Italian feast for Friday night.
Home made Lasagna, 3 different types including aMexican
style. We brought desert from
Mandola's Italian
Market that was just a great little store (Austin has some
really nice stores). Parcifal arrived and presented me with a
wooden name plate (see photo at bottom right).
I went with Mystique and Coffeebean to pick
up Trikkeh
from the airport Friday, she had become stranded with the snow and ice
in Tulsa, and run some errands then we returned and got ready for the
evening's activities. Jan gave a class on dressage and showed
everyone what to expect in the competition.
As always, nights are late at the events as it is just hard to stop
socializing.
Saturday's events started early,
although a little later than scheduled (again, up late the night
before). I put on my tack and it was not much of a problem.
I had brought some Kotex to use for the straps to help pad them but it
wasn't needed. I was going to try some riding but lunch came
quickly and with all the competitions going on, I never did. I
later became too tired to be safe with it and with the wound and meds.
I really enjoyed taking photos and did take a lot. Goddess Selene had introduced me to Master Los the night before and he did a
little pony cart pulling. He's a great guy and I enjoyed talking
with him.
We had grilled burgers for lunch then
for dinner there was a chili cook-off. I never really thought
there were that many "different" flavors for chili.. all were good, I
think I liked the chili Gail made best as it was a little closer to
the chili I am used to. More workshops and socializing and
another late night.
Sunday was a cold day, and the wind
was very strong but we still managed to spend the day doing pony play.
I was lucky to have Risa drive me in the cart in the advanced cart
trials. We ended up having a late lunch and since we had done so
much over the weekend, decided the competitions were done. Bar B
Q was great... beef, sausage, smoked turkey, deep fried turkey and all
the fixins... plus, a birthday cake (large one) decorated by Rain. Most every one
left Sunday night or early Monday morning but Parcifal, Coffeebean, Mystique,
Trikkeh and myself did more pony play most of the day Monday (ok,
I took photos) until time to leave for the airport.
I have posted a few photos in
the gallery and
will update this when all the photos are put up on the CTK site.
It was sure nice admiring all the lovely ladies in pantyhose (Trikkeh,
Risa, Rain, Mel, Coffeebean, tigerlilly, whispers & Jadey) as well as
Patience in her jeans and red latex (what a body!). Kasiniia in
her jeans, boots and hat, Goddess Selene in her jeans and leathers,
Jan in her riding clothes, Gail in her jeans, and Miss J. It was
also nice meeting and talking with their guys and s/o. There are
so many nice people in pony play and I am very fortunate and honored
to be in the pony play "family"
