ime was closing in and I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to make the trip, but at last minute a friend of mine from Louisville found out the only reason I couldn’t go was the cost of the airfare. He had several extra tickets from Rapid Rewards and donated one for my trip. I have never flown Southwestern and my first taste I shall keep to myself, as I should at least give them a second chance. Let’s just say, I spent about 5 out of 14 hours in the air.

I’m on the plane and I guess there is a reason for everything. The first flight was so late that the 3-hour layover turned into missing the connecting flight. Once finally on the connection, it was full and a lovely lady sat by me. Being the open type person (and ponyslut) it wasn’t long until Tina Marie from Louisiana wanted a human equine visit. I do hope I hear from her soon!

I got a shuttle bus with several ladies and as we approached the address one of them said, "oh, you’re going to Castlebar!" This is not a place with a sign so this caught me by surprise, but I explained and offered her an invitation to attend. If she did show up, I never saw her.

Friday I helped Damion and Zoe with some setting up and gave them their first rides. The back area that was a large warehouse room that had been used to work on boats was set up with wood shavings and hay and a corral area for riding. There was also dungeon equipment for non-pony play as well as 2 other dungeon rooms. By afternoon guests had started to arrive including the Vet and his ponygirl Breeze (who also rides and had just bought a horse). We talked and went for a quick mid afternoon snack and a short tour of a few stores including "Stormy Leather" where I met 2 wonderful lady salesclerks. I was disappointed that neither showed up during the weekend but do hope to hear from them sometime in the future.

Back at Castlebar and Damion gave me a nice "horse" shower. Then it was time to tack up and give rides. Damion took her ride first, then her assistant Zoe. Breeze also took a ride around the corral before the bar-b-q was fired up. I also noticed a beautiful blonde (named Jess) who was cracking a single tail in the corral area. I later got to meet her and come to find out we had corresponded by email about an upcoming project called Willpowered (more on this later in the web site). Although she did not ride this day, she did promise to come back the next day for a ride.

Later in the evening a colleague of Castlebar named Mistress Maya showed up in a short dress and white pantyhose (another fetish!). She had a natural feel to riding and did so for a while. I could hear her giggling as she rode around the dungeon areas.

That night, I was put in a stall area that was a corner of the main dungeon and left for rest. The next morning, I awoke to oats and breakfast. By mid Saturday afternoon, the place was bussing again. It was so nice to see my ol’ friend and rider Mistress Ice and her pony "slick" along with her room mate Ty & friends. It is always a joy to hear her say "my horse trigger". Jess had also arrived and decided it was time for her ride. I must admit she looks hot to start with, but in her black riding pants and boots.. WOW! It wasn’t long until she had mounted me and rode me around Castlebar. She had me in pony space in a matter of seconds.

I gave my little workshop on variations of pony play and several people had asked for a little riding demo so I persuaded Mistress Ice to mount me and ride me into the corral area. She has a way of putting me into pony space in a matter of seconds. After the workshop, we all conversed a bit then Sierra did his workshop. After, Mistress Ice rigged up a piece of wood and attached it to him and sat on it while he pulled it around the room. She later spoke those words I love, "I’m ready to ride my horse trigger!" and up she went. She rode me around for a little while but always leaving me wanting more. She has that feel on me that I just could go on for days.

We talked a little about my being her horse next year in the "Beta Breakers" 7 mile run in San Francisco. This should be a nice day of exercise for me! As the day went on, Damion rode me a few times, Zoe rode me quit a few times and by the end of the day and associate named Mistress Maya rode me a while. She looked wonderful in her short dress and white pantyhose (a fetish of mine). I could hear her having fun as she rode me around. There was also a subbie girl that rode me some, but I didn’t get her name.

Later in the night as I was just tethered to my stall post, I noticed a familiar face that I would have never expected to be in San Francisco. Mistress Line and her Purry Rascal kitty approached me. What a surprise to see one of New England’s pony riding enthusiasts here. Although she was tired, she did take a nice short ride around Castlebar. Purry Rascal was also a hit with the other guests and was talked about well after their departure. I do look forward to seeing them as well as her horse "Buck" at Leather Retreat 2000.

Sunday and the day of the competition. I thought I was going to be a judge, but they asked me to participate. "I don’t have a rider" I remarked.. "I’LL RIDE!" yelled Zoe! So in the competition I go. Zoe wanted to do something other than just ride so she set up some cones and navigated me with the reins. She did a really good job I might ad (we won 1st for equitation). She even had me jump a rope that showed where the corral bounds were (keep in mind she is about 5’10" 180ish and mostly muscle!). After we did our competition, she mounted me again for everyone to enter the ring and wait on the judges. This took some time so she just rode me around and felt so natural.

Also in the competition was PONYRACER, who had moved to California from Illinois. He needed a rider and teamed up with a girl named Sara (I think). She did look hot in her leather pants. It is hard to be a racer on a small track but they did very well. Especially since she had never ridden him (not even a practice) before the competition. Damion lassoed a new pony named "Liquid Plumber" and rode in the competition. When they left the coral area he blurted out, "what a rush!" (Well said LP)! I hope to have all the results soon to post here, as all were wonderful (being in pony space with Zoe, I don’t’ remember exactly who all was in the competition).

Later in the day I was ridden by Sara, again by Jess who rode me for a nice little while. She also put me in pony space again pretty quick, had a nice feel for the reins, etc.. After she rode me, she lunged me for a while and made comments on my gates and form to her associate April who was with her. There may be plans for an extended visit in the future; at least I’m hoping so. She grabbed a new pony called "Liquid Plumber" and wanted to see how well we lunged side by side. It was his first time to be lunged at all and he did a great job.trigger in his stall at Golden Gate Park Stables - San Francisco, Ca May 2000

Later in the night, another girl that had stopped by Friday was there with her friend. I had already un-tacked and was just socializing some in after thoughts. I didn’t think she was interested in riding, but made the comment to Zoe that if her friend Isabel wanted to ride, I would be more than happy to tack up. As tired and sore as I was, her eyes lit up and in no time she was riding me around Castlebar. She ran me a little and had me in pony space pretty quick. I barely remember her saying you must be a tired pony. I must have responded in a way that made her want to ride longer as she stayed on and rode for another 10 minutes or so (maybe longer I’m not sure).

I do remember some comments from her while she was riding about "if I owned you we would spend our days riding in a field", etc.. Oh what a wonderful thought!

Well, the night ended and I was put to bed in my stable area. The next day I began to get things together for the return trip. Damion had planned a visit to Golden Gate Park for some riding and photos. When we found an old arena area, we went down, tacked up and did some photos. After a while Zoe rode me down a trail and we were in this semi-secluded area when 4 police officers on little mo-ped type bikes approached us.

While I’m standing there in my harness with Zoe on my shoulders, they stopped and one said "I’ve seem some unique things in my day, but this has got to be the best! Enjoy your day in the park!" and they drove off. We later went to another location where there were some stables. A few pics in the stable with the other horses next door then a few of Zoe riding me around the stables. We made the turn to find a nice group of riding students taking lessons. All ages, from around 10 or 11 up to an elderly lady who was riding.

It was amazing the responses we got. One of the ladies that worked there just passed and said, "cool", some of the kids were laughing and a mother commented about them having plenty to talk about at school the next day. I recall being ridden by a few other youngsters and one asked to give me a carrot. Her mother quickly and snotty yelled "don’t you give him anything!"

It was a blast for sure! After we left there, we went to a city area and did a few pics on the corner of Asbury & Haight. There were several ladies that came by and asked to take pictures, I just wished they had mounted for them <weg>!

All in all, it was a wonderful trip and I know I have a good time (my muscles are sore!). I am told that there WILL be another Dog & Pony Show at Castlebar and I will be putting information about it when the dates are set!

Next West Coast trip may be a few visits before but for sure should be Folsom Street Fair!
