 nowfall,
cold weather, winter... ponyplay slows down.. NOT! The Crucible
in Washington, DC held it's first Pony Event and it was a big
success! There is a nice growing pony herd in the DC area
but this
event
also attracted some ponies from other areas including
southern Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York. Liz, who is
doing a documentary about pony play with Piper and me (and
probably another one or two before it's finished) was there to
document some of the fun. She also took photos with film
and I should have prints to scan and place here in a few weeks.
Piper came down for the event but as a pony rider and trainer.
There were a few new ponies there who were just wanting to see
what it was all about, but found that the pony herd is so "warm"
that they ended up playing and entering the pony show.
I don't have the list of who won what, or
the names of some of the new ponies but will update this page
once I get the list. The images below were taken on a
digital camera with a flash but the settings must have been set
for fill flash as the images were all dark. The plus to
this, you can see the movement of some of the ponies (like a
trailing shadow).
The first 2 images are of one of the
hottest females I've ever met.. Kristine stopped by
with her soon to be husband (congratulations) to pick up a few
things finally got to take her first
ride (there will be a
Kristine gallery in the near future of her riding her horse
trigger). The next are of a novice pony girl Misha, who
has been a horse rider for 19 years (hunt and jump) so it was
only natural for us to try some ourselves. If you
look, you can see that this was a double jump, the second being
the height of the chair itself. For safety, I kept my
hands out of my harness binders but the next time, I'll be in full harness with hands
confined. The last four images are of Misha being lunged
by Piper. Notice how high she can jump.. WOW! The
image above is Piper riding her horse trigger. I am sure
there will be more images of her riding in the future as well.
Not only is she a premier pony girl, but she is also a premier
pony rider!
There was a lot more pony fun going on,
Misha rode me for about 40 minutes mostly at a trot before we did the jump,
Mistress M rode me and also did some jumps while the judges were
scoring. Lil Foxy Sub, who had bought me at the LR auction
a few years ago but had hurt her back finally got her ride.
She had started taking riding lessons so she'd be more
comfortable and she was really great at it.
Photo Note: The above
images of Piper and the top section of images below were done with a
digital camera and built in flash that wasn't strong enough.
Some of the images were very dark and some even blurred a
little. I've tried to enhance the images so you can at least get an idea of how much fun we had!
